Columbus CyberKnife Upgrades Cancer Fighting Technology

We are excited to announce that we have upgraded our technology to provide our patients with the best cancer fighting equipment available.

CyberKnife® is a robotic technology that performs stereotactic radiosurgery, a noninvasive method of treating tumors with high-dose radiation in five or fewer procedures. The capabilities of the more advanced technology allow for greater accuracy, quicker treatment times for patients and better avoidance of healthy tissue during treatment.

Additionally, our new CyberKnife technology includes the Lung Optimization Treatment (LOT) System, which expands our ability to treat lung tumors in certain types of patients. The LOT system is a major advancement that opens CyberKnife treatment to more lung cancer patients who may not have previously been candidates due to other health issues.

Opened in 2010 in partnership with Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital, we offer the only CyberKnife treatment program in Columbus.
